1936 Coventry Eagle Pullman for Sale, Super Rare Vintage British Motorcycle, Original and Totally Unmolested

A Classic 250cc Two-Seater Special, Ready To Ride Just Bonkers

£SOLD

1936 Coventry Eagle Pullman For Sale (2)1936 Coventry Eagle Pullman for Sale, This is a very rare classic motorcycle as it was only made in the years 1936 and 1937; although registered as a 1937 it is actually a 1936 as it has original external leaf-springs (the 1937 model had internal leaf-springs). The engine is a 250cc Villiers twin-port single cylinder 2 stroke, engine rebuilt replacing piston and rings, big end and crank bearings. It has a 3 speed Albion gearbox and a rebuilt Lucas dynamo. All lights are working; hi and lo on headlamp and rear lamp. It has a new 6v battery and starts easily. The bike is very original; the only things missing are leg shields which apparently can be acquired through the owner’s club. As a classic historic vehicle it is both road tax and MOT exempt. it attracts a lot of attention due to its rarity; most comments being that external leaf- springs are really unusual.

P.S I have just been out for a ride on this petroleum propelled machine and i must admit i was blown away and had a big smile on my face when i returned back to my shop. Ha Ha Ha absolute fun i must say old chap. By the way the nice old boy in the picture is one of my neighbours who is 94 and was born in 1923, he said i remember when they came out when i was a kid and that they were rare and different then.
