1950 Velocette GTP 250 Classic for Sale, A Restoration project for the right skilled person. Engine not seized, Lots of compression.
Rusty and oily but all there. The bike has been in a corrugated workshop shed for the last 40 years. Lots of dust and a few spiders.

Rare Magneto version.
First registration shows as 1st July 1950 on buff logbook ?
All numbers as listed below are correct on bike and buff book.
We have been told that the Magneto version was for the USA market, is this a bike that has been sat on the shelf until 1950 ? then registered for the first time, can anyone help us to solve this mystery.

One of the owners was a Mr Ronald Rickman from Hampshire, ‘L@@K at second photo’ Does anyone know him, is he related to the Rickman brothers in New Milton Hampshire ?
Ronald’s name appears on the Buff book on the 2 June 1959
