1977 HARLEY DAVIDSON XR750 FLAT TRACKER ( SIMULAR BIKE AS EVIL KNIEVELS ) ( GENUINE 1977′ HARLEY DAVIDSON XR750 DIRT FLATRACKER, VERY RARE AND VERY NICE, WOULD SUIT SERIOUS
BIKE COLLECTOR OR INVESTOR ) The factory only ever made 570 ish XR’s between 1972′ and 1980′ They were made in model year batches,
being 72′, 75′, 77′, and 80′, this one being one of 83 made for the 77′ model year on March 15th 1978′. It is very original, with
Borianni rims, Ceriani forks and yolks, Grimeca calipers and master cylinders. The brake and gear lever are still both on the right,
“As God intended”.

The only issues are, that there is a small oil leak from a porosity in the crank cases around a breather fitting. There are some dents in the frame tubes where they meet the head stock ( this is from where the lock stops have bumped the frame. it is an ex race bike after all ). The primary cover pictured is an original item that leaks like a sive !! Included in the auction is a period aftermarket item that is oil tight. Also i have two brand new connicle filters not shown in pictures but still in there box ready to be fitted, The bike starts and runs and all is fine, All of the above is of no concern and does not detract from what is a stunning piece of racing history.

I have also been ask by two or three individuals on Ebay and various other websites would it be possible to put back to Factory race
trim well the answer is a simple YES, all you need to do is take off the Braking system, Number plate, Daytime Mot stop lightlight, and
there you go ready to go into the Museum or bike collection ( If this task is to complicated then please ask and we will get our
Motorcycle workshop techician to remove with ease )

We also have a letter of providence from the Harley Davidson Motor Company in Milwakee USA, stating that the bike is 100% genuine,
Chassis No: 1C10042H7 and Engine No: 1C10042H7 and that it is number 83 made and the dealer in the US it was first shipped to in 1978′. There are probably only ten to fifteen ( tops ) of these in the country. of which less than half of those are road registered. So don’t miss this opportunity to own a true piece of H-D American flattrack racing history.
