FOR SALE:
Ducati 200SS SUPER SPORT with the original log book which shows that it was UK registered in Aug 65, originally in blue and silver. Engine 156007, frame 155032. Much work has been carried out which is detailed below. It has electronic ignition, and starts and runs fine with no oil leaks or smoke. Lights / horn etc. work. Gearbox good. The Ducati has been ridden it a few times but not far as the bike has been kept in a static man cave collection. from what we have been told the Ducati has only done about 20 miles since the engine rebuild so will need to be run in. Work carried out as follows:

Engine: Rebore and new piston. All bearings, seals and gaskets replaced. Re - shimmed. Good crank / gearbox / cam. New engine bolts. Covers polished. Currently running with Mikuni copy carb, it runs far better than with the original Dellorto carb which comes with the bike.

Electrics: Electrex 12V electronic ignition system fitted. Wiring loom replaced and dummy battery holder fitted with modern battery.

Wheels: New tyres and spokes, optional M Baruzzo alloy rims original. Hubs polished, brakes good.

Tank / Tinware / Frame repainted. Chrome on tank in good condition, no rust or pitting. Tank clean inside. New silencer. New seat.

New footrest rubbers, new pillion footrests.

Plenty of documentation is included including parts lists, articles and receipts. All in all a cracking example.
